The monstrous self-addicted Tony Blair spent the entire final year of his inglorious premiership advertising his wares and trying to find new work, quite successfully for the main part. It seems Gordon Brown is getting around to it too, once again years too late.
In a horrible Telegraph article full of all the usual Keynesian nonsense which has placed the entire western world in such financial peril, he is basically begging for a job to coordinate a massive global Keynesian ‘Blockbuster’ plan to flood the world with paper money, because apparently we don’t have enough of it yet, despite it getting close to £100 pounds to fill a family car in Britain with enough fuel for the week.
Fortunately, I don’t think even the global elite are stupid enough to give this monumental Stalinoid klutz the time of day, so hopefully Brown will disappear again to lick his self-inflicted wounds and mourn his chaotic fall from grace, but you just never know. Having sent Britain down the toilet with a decade of government borrowing and spending to fund malinvestments and other catastrophic interventions, imagine how much damage Brown could do to the world if the global elite set him loose to rule the entire world (at their behest, of course).
One really does shudder to imagine it, though strangely, when he says that Italy is next for the bailout treatment, he is absolutely right of course.
